HIPAA Assessment and Compliance
HIPAA Assessments and Compliance ensures that healthcare
organizations meet HIPAA regulations
as they move toward process improvements. NetHealth
Trust has teamed with CACI and KMK Systems to
perform HIPAA Assessment and Annual Compliance
Monitoring.
NetHealth Trust uses a state of the art HIPAA Assessment
system that tracks regulatory requirements, determines
the level of risk of compliance variances, and creates
an item-level description of the non-compliance areas.
The assessment is based on a set of interviews with
various personnel within an organization and review
of policies and procedures.
System Engineering Services
System Engineering Services include requirements analysis,
system design, system integration, software development,
database design and development, system testing, system
deployment, Independent Verification and Validation,
and Project Management.
NetHealth Trust employs engineers with expertise in
various areas of information technology and numerous
years of technical experience. NetHealth Trust also
participates in Health
Level 7 (HL7), the healthcare standards
organization, and our engineers have experience in
developing HL7 interfaces
for data exchange.
NetHealth Trust’s engineers work
with organizations to define their requirements,
perform market surveys to identify solutions,
recommend the integration of solutions
into current operations, and deploy those
solutions. When required, we work with
existing vendors when integration requires
modifications to current configurations
and oversee those modifications. Software
is developed when necessary to integrate
solutions or when no commercial solutions
exists.

Infrastructure Support Services
include general Network Administration
and User Support, as well as implementation
and administration of high-performance
technical infrastructures (LAN/WAN/VPN,
Security, Capacity Planning, Performance
Management, Internet Access, and Disaster
Recovery Planning). NetHealth Trust has
unique expertise in image storage and retrieval
and clinical data migration and management.
Business Process Reengineering
NetHealth Trust Engineers review company policies and
procedures, work with organizations to define the current
processes, and identify best practices within an organization.
Once the current process is documented and validated,
NetHealth Trust recommends process improvements, such
as implementing information technology solutions, which
can be phased as short-term and long-term projects.
